How many people can you take?
Each boat takes up to 7 guests plus the captain. For bigger teams, Carl can arrange more boats so everyone gets on the water together.
How do we plan a corporate trip?
Call Carl at (936) 718-7983 or send a message through the contact form. Tell him your group size, preferred dates and what you have in mind, and he’ll put together a plan and a price.
How do we pay once the plan is set?
Book the Custom Event on our booking page, choose your date, and tap Pay what you want on the last step to enter the amount you agreed with Carl.
What forms of payment do you take?
All major cards, Apple Pay, cash, Venmo, Zelle and Cash App.
Does anyone need fishing experience?
No. Carl teaches first-timers how to bait, cast and reel in, so it works for the whole team. Guests 17 and older who fish need a Texas fishing license.
Can we do a lake tour instead of fishing?
Yes. Our Bird Watching & Lake Tour is a relaxed cruise with no fishing or license needed, and it works well for client outings and mixed groups.
What about the weather?
The captain always makes the safety call. If weather makes a trip unsafe, you can reschedule at no charge, and guests traveling from outside the Lake Conroe area may have the trip refunded on a bad-weather day. You can also reschedule for any reason up to 5 days before your trip. Full details are in our Terms of Service.
